Neiva to Medellin is a 12 hour overnight bus ride. Funny: time on the bus ticket is the time the bus should arrive, not leave. Quite comfy buses they have here, makes trsvelling enjoyable.
Here in Medellin everything is much more expensive, but also more diverse and not such a brutal heat like in Neiva – ushhhh!!!
Yesterday we met with tatis primo y prima (cousins) for some drinks and Salsa. There are much more gringos here, but still in a comfortable proportion to locals. But the majority of all westernes just can’t dance. At least they try i guess… Medellin doesn’t feel unsafe at all, but that’s the problem with safety, you can’t really tell as long as nothing happens… and also we are hanging out in Poblado, in the touristy neighborhood, which is well guarded by police, there sure is also another Medellin to experience…
Still not doing much, just relaxing, still not bored by it. Only problem is the calories input to output ratio.
Screw the calories. Enjoy life. Dance it off.
