España

At the el dorado aeropuerto in Bogotá, accompanied by Tere and Luis

Arrived in Madrid, they speak Spanish alright, but it’s a very different Spanish.
Also I thought I could connect without the language barrier, but NOOOOO.

Daytrip to Toledo, the old capital of Spain, just woooow!

Cuenca, another very spectacular city on the way to Barcelona:

Barcelona, the capital of Catalunya, with own language and everything. They work here a little more, but all in all I do not have anymore questions about the economical state of Spain…

They say Gaudi was so humble, did it all in the name of god. How can one be so humble, when creating such crazy projects like sagrada familia?

Barceloneta has changed a lot only since I’ve been here the last  time, not at all poor anymore! AirBNB and the likes from Silicon Valley (Uber….) are changing the world completely. People here at not happy at all that they can’t afford living here anymore. Apartement owners prefer renting out to tourist with a stronger economical background. Barcelona is very pretty and very touristy. They say it got so hip in only the last year, prices are soaring. Well, I was wondering about if I could imagine to live here before we arrived. I can say with certainty now: NO thanks…

Also met an already old friend (not he, more the friendship): Damon came over from Gibraltar for the weekend

Last stop on our Spain tour, Palamos: a quiet fishing village in the costa brava (y en verdad: aca hay mucha gente brava), first time for Lau beeing at the beach and freezing ones asses of, the summer has yet to arrive in the meditareanean

But still happy, so many new impressions to digest, not only Fidellia (pronounced fide-ouah), the noodle version of Paellia.

Definitely a fisher village, Selecta mashine for your worms:

From here we travelled to Bordeaux, where we just missed Chris an René by one day!
